Let’s train together in person

LOCATION: I train clients out of a private gym in the Hollywood District in NE Portland called Vive Fitness. It is a private personal training studio with some small group classes. Our gym is only open to clients during their session time with their trainer and to those participating in a class; it is not a membership based gym and clients don’t have access to it outside of their session. For these reasons, we have been able to build a supportive community that is energetic, supportive and kind.

MY STYLE: I work with an array of clients. Some of whom have never lifted weights before and want to feel stronger and more confident, and some who are seasoned gym goers that are looking for more structure and technique guidance. My main objective is to help my clients feel empowered and capable through lifting weights and providing the nutritional education necessary to meet their goals. I am a certified pre and post natal coach as well and work with women preparing for pregnancy, during pregnancy, and anytime after giving birth (whether that is after doctor’s clearance or perhaps even years following).

PRICING: I offer both in person 1:1 sessions as well as buddy sessions. All sessions are 50 minutes long. In person 1:1 sessions are $75 per session and $100 per buddy session.

1:1 PERSONAL TRAINING: In person training is a more personal experience compared to the online training that I offer. You have my eyes on you the entire session. In person training allows me to give you real time feedback and cues on the exercises you are performing. If you experience any pain or discomfort during an exercise, I am there to give you a solution right away to help; or if you aren’t feeling an exercise in the muscles we would like, I can give you changes to apply right then in order to recruit muscles properly.

Those who are beginning exercise, have specific personalized goals, pregnant or postpartum, 1:1 sessions are a great option for you.

PARTNER TRAINING: Buddy sessions are a great way to increase accountability (you have your partner and myself relying on you to show up!) and also make your session just that much more fun. While you don’t get the same amount of attention from me as a 1:1, it is still a semi-personalized experience where I can give you personalized coaching as needed. It is a cost effective way to have access to a coach tracking your progress and helping you get stronger.
