Train online with me from anywhere in the world!

I feel passionately about the health, fitness and wellbeing of our society and won’t let proximity stand in the way of empowering others to feel healthier, happier and more confident. I offer online training to be able to work with those who do not live in Portland, Oregon.

Online training is also a great option if you’re looking for an affordable way to follow a PERSONALIZED online training program. Your goals and individual needs are put at the forefront of your program to deliver you an effective and enjoyable way to achieve your fitness goals.


HOW IT WORKS

I use an app called TrueCoach to program for you. This platform is easy to use and free to download for clients and allows me to customize programs for you. I use videos of myself demonstrating exercises and include a written description as well to make sure you fully understand how to correctly perform the workout.

Within the app, we can easily communicate and track your progress.

I do not design programs that will have you jumping around in your living room for home workouts just to make you sweat. or doing random exercises in the gym. These are thoughtful programs designed to help you learn about fitness and to help you become healthier, stronger, happier and more confident.

Included in your program is an initial movement assessment conducted via FaceTime or Skype. This is where I can see how you move and what needs addressing in your program to help you feel and perform your best. You also have access to form tutorial videos that I include with all personal client programming. In the videos I speak to you and explain how to perform some of our most commonly used exercises to ensure you are doing them effectively and safely. Also included in your program are my top fitness and nutrition tips.

My mission is to educate my clients about health and fitness so you can feel empowered to make the changes you are seeking. I go above and beyond to deliver you with the information I feel you need to be successful while training remotely with a personal trainer.

Accountability, structured programming, and weekly check ins

  • A completely personalized program, taking into consideration your fitness level and your available equipment.

  • You will complete a structured program for 4 weeks at a time before the exercises change. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the exercises to get better and stronger at them, and track your progression. You will push yourself to do more over these 4 weeks.

  • Included are THREE workouts per week (home or gym).

  • Within the app, you can send videos to me of yourself completing an exercise you may be unsure of or want feedback on. I will then give instructions on how to modify so you can complete the exercise safely and effectively.

  • You can write me notes on your workouts that I can read and respond to. I will use this to modify exercises if necessary and to keep track of what you are completing so we successfully progress you to become stronger and more fit.

  • Included are programmed exercises, sets, reps, tempo, and rest period

  • Monthly progress photos can be updated to the app

  • A mandatory weekly (written) check in will be completed by the client weekly by Sunday. You will answer questions to help me better understand how you’re doing within your program as well as your progress outside of your workouts.

  • You will receive weekly newsletters every Friday. I will include a new recipe every week, share inspirational quotes, debunk common fitness myths, give cold hard facts on all things fitness and health, share personal thoughts on health and fitness, and more!

  • Weekly communication: I will respond to check-ins every Monday and any other questions from the weekend. You will receive a message from me on Mondays as well, checking in at the beginning of the week. Monday and Friday will be the only days I respond to questions, check-ins, or form check videos.

  • My online training programs are a great option for self motivators who seek the structure and accountability of having a coach. It is for those eager to LEARN throughout the process. You will gain strength, confidence, and knowledge!

FAQ & OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

+ Is online fitness coaching effective?


Definitely. I will hold you accountable by checking in with you and following up how sessions are going. Even though you do not meet with me in person, I give you everything I give to my face-to-face clients. Having an online trainer gives you the flexibility to train at home or in the gym when it suits YOU, but you have someone who is rooting for you.

+ Why should I try online personal training??


Online personal training allows you to have me, a certified personal trainer, write you programs for you to complete in your own time throughout the week.

Sometimes life is busy and we can’t match our schedule up with someone else’s or we don’t have time to drive to a gym to meet a trainer. Online training allows you to rest easy knowing all the hard work you’re putting in is actually effective at getting you to your goals in the most efficient way possible.

+ How much is online personal training?


It all depends on how often or how deeply you'd like me to get involved in your fitness journey, but it's an affordable alternative to personalized 1-on-1 sessions with all the same advice, guidance and committment levels.
